Why do we sell scooters

Gallopin'gopeds.com, a Classic Micro Systems Company was formed in 2006 by Classic Micro Systems (computers, networks, electronics) to sell and market Go-Ped® brand electric scooters.  Having been involved indirectly with Equestrian events we realized a niche market existed to provide a method of transportation at the often sprawling event venues.  The mode of transportation had to be portable, quiet, and powerful in order to navigate the hills and dirt and grass-covered areas.  We had seen other brands of scooters used in these environments often with inadequate power to go up even the slightest hill and narrow tires that do not navigate the dirt roads well.  The Go-Ped brand electric scooter fulfilled that niche perfectly and stood above all the rest.

What makes the go-ped products perfect for Equestrian also makes it perfect for other areas such as racing (use in the pits and around the track) or simply to get around the campus or around town, to and from the store, etc.

What makes us different

In our search for the perfect electric scooter, we found that no local dealers specialized in electrics, the Go-Ped name is synonymous with scooters but primarily gasoline-powered models that are popular with youth to race, so less was known about the electric line and testing one out was next to impossible.  Our unique background building custom computer systems and dealing with networks and electronics may not at first seem like a logical product mix.  But our interest and knowledge of Go-Peds plus our mechanical and computer background made selling electric scooters a natural fit.

What makes Gallopin'gopeds.com different is that we specialize in electric Go-Peds so we know the product very well -- we do not try to sell and service every scooter in the marketplace.  We focus exclusively on the best -- Go-Ped® brand electric models.  You'll also be able to "test drive" one of our scooters either at an event or locally at our facility by appointment.  Most all other local Go-Ped dealers have no electric models to show or demonstrate whereas we always have some in stock!  And we will offer unique accessories and customization options that you will not find anywhere else that will make your scooter work best in the niches we service.
